Overall, I think buffing the values of mid/higher leveled armors could suffice as a basic/simple solution if no skill wide solution can be constructed. Maybe more elaboration is needed but this is long enough. However, I feel like you could potentially make the same gp/sec from runes and for less cost. The only justice done for the gp/sec is that runes are worth almost nothing.

And, even trying to consider resource preservation and doubling items, I can't see that making up for any of the values.

Especially, when there's a huge difference in resource cost between the tiers. Maybe I'm crazy but, 5 gp/sec on all armors feels awful in my eyes. The skill is sort of at a point where the only benefits feel like the runes and maybe the low and mid tier staffs (I haven't looked at cost and gp/s on these yet but I do know they have differences compared to the armors, fortunately.). But, the point I'm trying to make is that it just feels awful in comparison to similar skills. What's the point of making them? Or, what's the point of making more than one of each? That question is sort of simple to answer and that would be mastery (and obviously item completion). To clarify, it feels beneficial to try my best to skip all the Runecrafting armors or, the higher tier ones. And, these skills actually provide financial benefits to crafting higher tiers of armor and have price differentiation.

I get that the Runecrafting skill is a bit more complex than Crafting and Smithing but, at least those skills get full benefit of their item mastery unlocks and checkpoints (with a small exception in crafting). One of my biggest complaints is that the lowest level (lowest skill level to make) armor and the highest level armor are worth the same. And, there's no item mastery unlocks for anything besides runes. However, something does feel off and maybe someone could clarify.Īlso, will there be a Runecrafting rework? Two of the four mastery checkpoints are garbage for anything outside of runes.
MELVOR IDLE RUNECRAFTING GUIDE OFFLINE
Given that the Agility passives give me 15% bonus mastery xp, is it possible that those are not being accounted for during offline progression? Or, I should say maybe the game isn't accounting for them? Obviously, more testing would probably be needed to confirm this claim. That's a rough and lazy attempt of the math or I should say rough approximations. Bringing my total to at least 260k on that rune. And, with at least 12 runes per craft, that's about another 60k runes. If we assume approximately 1k (this might be generous to my opposition) mastery xp per iteration, that's 5.2k iterations. I'm about 5.2 mill xp away from 99 on this rune. On my last combination rune needed, I'm sitting at around 200k runes at level 93 mastery. For example, with all the bonuses, I managed to hit around 220k combination runes when hitting 99 mastery. I have been doing Runecrafting for awhlie now and it feels like there are some differences between online and offline progression. I was wondering how mastery xp works while offline.
